Office Manager- Rose Mercadante

Rose Mercadante has been working for Pediatric Alliance, PC for the past 7 years as Dr. Deborah Rotenstein's Endocrinology Division office manager.  Prior to her employment with Dr. Rotenstein, she simultaneously managed 5 Internal Practices offices for West Penn/Alleghany Health System for many years. Her first managerial experience was with Dr. Mark Konrad, Penn Beaver Medical Center where she managed his large practice for 11 years.  Rose attended Garfield Business Institute graduating in 1970, attended Penn State University (Beaver Campus) for real    estate having been licensed since 1976.  She enjoys her job and its many challenges.

Rose is the MiMi of three delightful grandsons, and has many family members in the area, but especially Beaver County.  She adores children and this position has given her the opportunity to interact with children and their families.  She has a long commute and uses the time to plan her approach to management of the Endo division.  Rose has many friends and truly enjoys interactions with all people.

     At Pediatric Alliance, we know children.  It’s all we do!  At the Endocrinology division we take care of children from birth through college.  We believe that infants, children and adolescents are different from adults and require a physician with training specific to their needs.  As board certified pediatricians we provide that special level of care and expertise.

     Our division of pediatric Endocrinology serves patients with disorders of the endocrine system (poor growth, early or late puberty, adrenal and thyroid disorders, abnormal metabolism, calcium disorders, chromosomal disorders and syndromes, pituitary diseases and diabetes both type I & II) from birth through age 21 years. As many of the patients have chronic problems, we strive for individualized evaluation and treatment. In addition to Dr. Deborah Rotenstein, who is board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology, we have on staff a nurse practitioner.
