Management

Chief Executive Officer- James Troup

James Troup, M.S. MIT, was appointed CEO of Pediatric Alliance in 2008. With more than 10 years of healthcare experience in both the nonprofit and private sectors, James is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company.

Prior to Pediatric Alliance,  James served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Operations at Gateway Rehab; a $32 million national behavioral health provider with 22 locations. He was responsible for strategic and operational planning and the administration of admissions, utilization review, EAP, marketing and community outreach, and information technology. 

James currently serves on the Board of the Bradley Center, a Pittsburgh based non-profit organization providing behavioral health services. In addition, he is active with various organizations, including: Health Information Systems and Management Society, American College of Healthcare Executives, Project Management Institute, Medical Group Management Association, Pa Reach, PAeHI, University of Virginia McIntire School. James holds Masters of Science in the Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia.

Director of Clinical Operations- Lisa Cerra

Lisa Cerra is the Director of Clinical Operations for Pediatric Alliance.  Lisa is a registered nurse with 20 years of experience in pediatric healthcare.  Lisa is responsible for development and implementation of practice-wide policies and procedures, pay-for-performance activities, compliance issues (HIPAA, OSHA, VFC, etc.) and various special projects.  She acts as a liaison with all Pediatric Alliance offices as well as external organizations.  Lisa co-chairs the Quality Improvement Committee and serves on the Strategic Management and Electronic Medical Records Committees. 

Lisa is also active with the Allegheny County Immunization Coalition.  Outside of work, Lisa and her husband keep busy with three very active daughters. 

Director of Human Resources - Kellie Yanek

Kellie Yanek is the Director of Human Resources for Pediatric Alliance.  With 13 years of experience in the HR field, Kellie is responsible for employee relations, developing and updating polices, coaching management regarding policy interpretation and performance management, benefit plan design and administration, payroll processing, as well as overseeing the administrative processes in the HR department.

She serves on the Fiduciary and Strategic Management committees within the organization and has been an active member with the Society for Human Resource Management both on the national level as well as the Pittsburgh chapter. Her time away from the office is spent doing various activities with her four children, ages 5 to 21.

Director of Technology- Gary Janchenko

Gary Janchenko has been with Pediatric Alliance for over two years; overseeing the deployment of Technology in our offices for over one year.  He has a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Slippery Rock University and had been actively pursuing an MBA as well as a Masters in Information Systems. Recently, Gary has earned a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.

Gary is a natural coach and top-performing business-analyst, team leader and IT expert.  He has had a great impact on the adoption of technology at Pediatric Alliance and works tirelessly on fortifying the server and networking infrastructure of the 14 physical locations of Pediatric Alliance and helping to get the most out of our EHR system.

In his spare time, Gary enjoys volunteering for a number of charities throughout Pittsburgh - his favorite is being a dog walker at the Humane Society on the North Shore.

 

Director of Finance- Lori Presto

Lori Presto has served as Pediatric Alliance’s Director of Finance since May of 2010. Lori is responsible for the ongoing financial health, accounting, and reporting of the organization.

Lori comes to Pediatric Alliance with over twenty years of experience. Most recently, she spent four years as Controller for the Senator John Heinz History Center and twelve years as Director of Financial Reporting at UPMC Passavant.

Currently, Lori serves on the Boards of Brook Park Recreation Club, Pittsburgh Water Polo (treasurer), and North Allegheny Water Polo.
